South Central Pennsylania Vacation Packages

Wonderful safe campus. Beautiful and historic. Parking fee very expensive unless you can get a package that includes. Almost $50 per night. Breakfast buffet very good but the same every morning. No variety. Toaster doesn’t work. Bistro staff very nice. Gated entrance with security. Our second stay here.

The hotel was fine for a couple of nights stay - we were in a KING room and it was very small and in need of updating Parking was a pain and off site, which is not great The area the hotel is in is in the City center - it really is not a great area especially at night There are a LOT OF PEOPLE hanging about on street corners and a lot of homeless around the hotel and the area Honestly, I did not feel 100% safe going back and forward to my hotel later at night and would not recommend it for any single female I have stayed in hotels in a lot of countries and cities around the world; it wasnt the most unsafe, but it certainly did not feel that safe, especially at night time I actually feel safer staying in hotels in Manhattan - that is simply my view and you may feel free to disagree Overall, the hotel was okay, but the surrounding area leaves a lot to be desired and I would not stay there again, due in main to the area and its surroundings

Teddy is the reason my family will be coming back—and why I’ll recommend the InterContinental at The Wharf to anyone visiting the area. The hotel is lovely and convenient, the rooms spacious and clean, and the staff warm and helpful. But Teddy took hospitality to another level. My kids came back from an epic concert STARVING at 11:30 on a Sunday night. I shuffled down to the lobby in my pajamas, hoping to find a bag of chips or something to keep the teenagers alive until morning. I found Teddy and asked if he knew anywhere I could still get food. He said, “Pizza and pasta okay? Follow me. I’ll take you to where we go.” And he did! He walked me down the block to a lively Italian place I never would have found on my own, went inside, and made sure they would take care of me. Then he disappeared back into the night like the angel he was. Within 15 minutes, I was back at the hotel with pizzas. I’d never been to The Wharf and had no idea where I was or what might still be open. Teddy could have simply pointed me in a direction. Instead, he immediately took it upon himself to solve my problem and literally walked me to the solution. That is hospitality. The beautiful hotel may have gotten us there the first time. Teddy is the reason we’ll come back.
